UAE confirms first day of Ramadan 2023
Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, is a time when Muslims across the world fast from dawn to dusk. The UAE’s Moon-sighting Committee announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, the 22nd of March 2023, will be the 30th day of Sha’ban and that Thursday will be the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan in the UAE.

Shab-e-Barat, the 15th night of the month of Sha’ban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. On this night, Allah — Majestic and Resplendent — descends to the nearest heaven and looks upon His creation.
