The first group of Hajj pilgrims traveling by ship arrived at Jeddah Islamic Port from Sudan since last Monday, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The Saudi Ports Authority emphasized the port’s specialized logistical services that simplify the arrival and departure processes for pilgrims. These services also aid in the movement of goods to local markets during the Hajj season.
Key facilities at the port include a maritime control tower, tugboats, a passenger hall, and a dedicated dock for livestock, all ensuring the safe and efficient transit of pilgrims.
